International Student Enrolment Policy and Procedure (National Code Std 3 )

Students applying for a course at FIC will have their application treated fairly and in accordance with the entry requirements for the intended courses of study.

On receiving enrolment requests an Enrolment application form and Student handbook is supplied to each student. Students applying for ELICOS or VET courses must be 18 years old (at the time of course commencement).

Students applying for VET courses must provide the college evidence that demonstrates their English language proficiency. This is normally a certificate e.g. an IELTS certificate with an overall band of 5.5.

All ELICOS students regardless if an English language certificate has been provided to FIC must undertake an FIC English Test prior to course commencement. This applies to students applying on and offshore.

Students applying for VET courses may also choose to have their English language proficiency assessed by the College. The result of this test will be used to decide if a students’ English language proficiency satisfies a VET course English language entry requirement (IELTS 5.5).

Please refer to the International student enrolment policy and procedure. A copy of the policy can be accessed by contacting the college at info@flinderscollege.edu.au.
